Pride Walk

Make Your Presence Visible

The Pride Walk is one of the most visible and meaningful moments of Pride The Hague. It brings together individuals, communities, organisations, companies, and collectives to walk side by side for equality, visibility, and queer celebration. Everyone is welcome to walk with us through the heart of the city.

Who Can Join

Everyone is welcome to join the Pride Walk. Whether you come as an individual, with friends and chosen families, as part of a community group, organisation, workplace, or business - all are invited to walk with us.

The Pride Walk is open to anyone who participates respectfully and with Pride values in mind. Your presence contributes to the message that everyone belongs.

Please note: For legal and safety reasons, groups and organisations are required to register in advance. Individual participants can join freely without registration.

Participation as a Group

Organisations or companies that walk as a group are especially encouraged to register. Participation is free, but registration is mandatory to help Pride The Hague coordinate the event safely and effectively. Each group will designate a contact person to receive updates and guidance. If you sign up before the deadline, your name will also be mentioned on our Website as a participant.

Requirements for Groups

Volunteer Requirement: Groups must provide volunteers fitting the group size - 1 volunteer per 10 participants. These volunteers help ensure the walk runs smoothly and safely.

Preparatory Meetings: At least one representative from your group must attend one of the preparatory meetings in April. Choose from:

  • Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 PM
  • Monday, April 13 at 7:30 PM
  • Thursday, April 23 at 7:30 PM
  • Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 PM (Team Building)

Location: COC Haaglanden, Scheveningseveer 7, 2514 HB Den Haag

Along the Route

Organisations, venues, and workplaces located along the Pride Walk route are warmly invited to take part by showing their support. This can be as simple as decorating windows, displaying Pride flags, or creating a welcoming atmosphere for walkers and passers-by.

These visible gestures help extend Pride into the streets and neighbourhoods and make the Walk feel like a truly citywide moment. Even just putting out a glass of water already means a lot!

Why Join

Joining the Pride Walk means:

  • Supporting queer visibility and acceptance
  • Taking part in a citywide public moment
  • Showing solidarity with the queer community and its allies
  • Celebrating diversity together

Whether you walk calmly, joyfully, loudly, or thoughtfully: your presence contributes to the message that everyone belongs.
