Volunteers are essential to Pride The Hague. Whether you're helping on the day of events, offering support behind the scenes, or welcoming visitors, your contribution helps make Pride Week a welcoming, safe, and inclusive experience for everyone. Volunteering is open to all who share our values of inclusion, respect, and community support.
During Pride Week, volunteers support many parts of the programme. Typical tasks include:
Pride Walker
Helping ensure the Pride Walk runs smoothly
Host
Welcoming and guiding visitors at official events
Bar or Service Support
Helping with bar areas and guests
Information & Greeting Points
Offering directions and support to attendees
General Event Assistance
Helping with setup and logistics as needed
You can choose tasks based on your interests and comfort level and availability.
Preparation is part of the volunteer experience. In the weeks before Pride Week, we hold pre-meetings and introductions where volunteers:
