We invite you to join us as we launch this year’s Pride The Hague with an inspiring evening filled with stories, performances, and connection. Under our theme, “Sharing Stories”, we shine a spotlight on the powerful narratives within the queer community.
The evening’s program will feature insightful Pride panels, captivating performances by queer artists, and an inspiring Queer Market where you can connect with local organizations dedicated to supporting and empowering the queer community.

The Queer Market
In addition to the talks and performances, we are proud to host a vibrant Queer Market. This marketplace features a variety of local queer organizations dedicated to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community throughout The Hague and surrounding areas.

Accessibility
We aim to make the Pride Walk opening at Amare as inclusive and accessible as possible. While we cannot guarantee full accessibility, we have taken several measures to accommodate attendees with diverse needs:
Level Entrance: Amare features a ground-level entrance, facilitating easy access for wheelchair users and those with mobility aids.
Elevators and Escalators: Multiple elevators and escalators are available, ensuring access to various floors and venues within Amare.
Wheelchair-Friendly Facilities: The venue is equipped with wheelchair-accessible seating areas, restrooms, and pathways throughout the building.
Accessible Parking: Nearby parking facilities, such as Q-Park Spui, offer designated spaces for visitors with mobility difficulties.
Public Transportation: Amare is conveniently located near several tram and bus stops, including Spui, Kalvermarkt/Stadhuis, and Centrum, providing accessible public transport options.
Assistance Dogs: Trained assistance dogs are welcome at Amare. Please inform Amare in advance if you plan to attend with an assistance dog.
Rules
As we are registering the walk with the Municipality as a demonstration there are certain rules we kindly request everyone to follow:

Treat others with kindness and respect — discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.

Follow instructions from Pride Walk volunteers (orange vests) and police at all times.

If you feel unsafe, report it to a volunteer or call 112 in emergencies.

Do not block entrances or take alternative routes. Dangerous objects, alcohol, drugs, and face coverings (except medical masks) are not allowed.

Do not smoke or vape near the large Pride Flag — please step aside if you wish to smoke.

Keep music and noise at a respectful volume.

Leave the area clean — dispose of waste properly.
Banners and signs are welcome, but must not include hateful, discriminatory, or inciting language or imagery.

From Den Haag Centraal Station: Amare is approximately a 5-minute walk. Exit the station towards Turfmarkt and continue straight to Spuiplein.
🚲 By Bicycle
Bicycle Parking: Secure bicycle parking is available at Biesieklette facilities located at Stadhuis and Spuiplein. Please note their closing hours.
🚆 By Public Transport
Tram and Bus Stops Nearby: Amare is accessible via several tram and bus lines. The nearest stops include Spui, Kalvermarkt/Stadhuis, and Centrum.
🚗 By Car
Parking Options: While Amare does not have its own parking garage, several public parking facilities are nearby:
