Host an Event

Pride Event

Pride Week is Built Across the City

Pride The Hague 2026 will be a full Pride Week, with events happening throughout the city. Alongside the core programme, Pride Week creates space for community-led events organised by venues, organisations, collectives, and individuals.

If you have an idea for an event, big or small, cultural or social, celebratory or reflective — there is room for it within Pride Week. Already have everything arranged? Submit your event here. Still looking for a venue, artists, or sponsors? Head to Pride Connect and we'll help you find the right match.

What does "Hosting an Event" mean

Hosting an event during Pride Week can take many forms, feel free to propose anything you can think of. Examples include:

A performance, exhibition, or cultural programme

A talk, panel, or workshop

A party, social gathering, or community meet-up

A sports, wellness, or family-focused activity

An existing event adapted to align with Pride Week

Events can be free or ticketed, one-off or recurring, intimate or large-scale.

How We Support You

Pride The Hague wants to help, not just list your event. We can support you by:

  • Connecting you to people and networks that align with your vision
  • Through Pride Connect, matching you with venues, artists, or sponsors
  • Including your event in the official Pride Week calendar for broader visibility
  • Connecting you to partners or potential sponsors through Pride Connect

We try to offer support where possible, recognising that organising can feel overwhelming. Please keep in mind though, that we are also just volunteers so our resources are limited.

What We Ask From Event Organisers

To create a welcoming space for everyone in the community, we ask that events:

  • Align with Pride The Hague's values of inclusion, respect, and safety
  • Are welcoming to queer communities and allies
  • Avoid discrimination, harm, or exclusion
  • Communicate accessibility and practical details clearly

If you're unsure how your idea fits with this, we're here to help you think it through.

Anyone Can Host

You don't need a track record or institutional backing. Pride Week events are organised by:

  • Community groups and organisations
  • Cultural venues and creative spaces, Bars, cafés, and social hubs
  • Individuals and smaller collectives
  • Groups hosting informal meet-ups, workshops, or discussions

If you have an idea but don't have a venue, artists, or budget yet, check out Pride Connect — we'll help match you with the right people.

Don't have a venue or artists yet?

No worries! Pride Connect is our free matchmaking service that brings venues, artists, sponsors, and ideas together. We'll help you find the right match so you can focus on creating an amazing event.
