Kinky and Consent Masterclasses – Sadomasochisme: Plezier in pijn

This workshop facilitated by Dante Woods who will unpack key terms like sadism, masochism, kink, and fetish, before diving into the dynamics that shape power exchange relationships. Through the lens of the 5 C’s—communication, connection, consent, compassion, and commitment—we’ll explore how trust and respect are cultivated in BDSM practices. We’ll also touch on tools like contracts, feedback, and understanding pain thresholds, including the controversial topic of Consensual Non-Consent (CNC)—and invite the audience to reflect on where we draw the line between consensual and abusive.

Drawing on survey results from submissives and BDSM practitioners, we’ll discuss why people desire both physical and emotional forms of pain, and how stigma and shame continue to shape public narratives about BDSM.

To close, you’ll be invited to safely explore different sensations using a variety of fabrics, toys, and tools—an interactive chance to feel, reflect, and ask questions in a supportive environment.
