Pride The Hague is an annual event and will take place on the 16th and 17th of May 2025, with the theme ‘Sharing Stories’.

The aim of Pride The Hague is to promote LGBTQIA+ acceptance and emancipation in The Hague, to draw attention to the rights of the queer community and to celebrate the diversity of queer people.

Supported by the municipality of The Hague and together with queer organisations and supporting partners, we have made The Hague buzz with positivity and let this vibe resonate throughout the city, the region and far beyond.

Pride The Hague 2025 will take place from the 16th to the 17th of May, with some community events also happening before and after. We invite you to join us for a week of exciting events, performances, protests, workshops, and more, as we come together to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and allies!

Pride The Hague is open to everyone. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally, we encourage all individuals to come together and show support for equality and love.

We have a wide range of events planned. For more information on each of the events, check our event calendar!

At Pride The Hague, we are committed to embracing intersectionality. Intersectionality is the idea that different aspects of a person’s identity—such as gender, sexuality, race, ability, and socioeconomic background—interact and shape their experiences of privilege or oppression. At Pride The Hague, we aim to center these different voices and make sure that everyone, especially from marginalized groups, has the opportunity to find their community and experience Pride in a meaningful way.

We believe that Pride should be a celebration of all identities within the LGBTQIA+ community, especially those that are often marginalized or underrepresented. Our full mission statement is also available on the website.

Connecting with others in the LGBTQIA+ community can help build a sense of belonging and support. To find LGBTQIA+ organisations and mental health services for queer people in the Hague, you can visit: https://queersupportdenhaag.nl/organisaties.php
