In a world where sound from the queer community is often muted or unheard, we want to present a programme where the queer experience in all its length and breadth is given space to find voice in theatre.
On stage
We proudly bring to the stage: Fazle Shairmahomed, maker, dancer and community builder from The Hague.
We also give the microphone to Sunni Lamin Barrow, a spoken word artist and poet who knows how to touch every sensitive chord.
Moreover, we can enjoy powerhouse singer Mushroom Mosis.
Exhibition & short film
This evening will also feature a short film made by BO Diversity in close cooperation with the queer Muslim community. An organisation dedicated to reforming sexuality and gender equality in the Netherlands through programmes, workshops and various art projects.
Furthermore, photographer Yasemin Demirözcan will exhibit her work in the hall of the theatre.
