  • Register for events and programs
  • RSVP and manage your event attendance
  • Collect digital badges and achievements
  • Connect with the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Share your story (with consent)
  • Receive Pride Week updates and news

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Post discriminatory, hateful, or offensive content
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Collect user data without consent
  • Distribute spam, malware, or viruses
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
  • Resell or commercialize the Services without authorization

6. Event Registration and Tickets

6.1 Registration

When registering for events:

  • RSVPs and registrations are subject to availability
  • Confirmation does not guarantee entry if capacity is reached
  • You must comply with event-specific rules and requirements
  • Accessibility accommodations should be requested in advance

6.2 Partner Events and Payment Processing

Many events listed on Pride The Hague are organized by partner organizations, venues, or third parties:

  • Partner events may require payment or ticketing through external platforms
  • All payment processing for partner events is handled exclusively by those partners
  • Pride The Hague does not process payments, store payment information, or receive any financial data from partner event transactions
  • Partner organizations are solely responsible for their own payment processing, refund policies, and ticketing systems
  • Prices are set by event organizers and are typically in Euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise
  • We are not responsible for third-party payment processors, ticketing fees, or any issues arising from external payment systems

6.3 Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The specific event's cancellation policy
  • How far in advance you cancel
  • Whether the event is canceled or postponed by organizers

If an event is canceled by Pride The Hague, you will be entitled to a full refund or credit toward another event.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All Content on our Services, including but not limited to:

  • Text, graphics, logos, and images
  • Software, code, and functionality
  • Pride The Hague branding and trademarks
  • Event descriptions and materials

is owned by Pride The Hague or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

When you submit content (stories, photos, comments), you:

  • Retain ownership of your content
  • Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for Pride The Hague purposes
  • Confirm you have all necessary rights to share the content
  • Agree your content does not violate third-party rights

7.3 Photography and Recording

By attending Pride events, you acknowledge that:

  • Photos and videos may be taken at events
  • You may appear in promotional materials
  • You can opt-out by contacting us or wearing an "opt-out" indicator provided at events

9. Community Standards and Conduct

Pride The Hague is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. We expect all users and participants to:

We prioritize the safety of all participants. However:

  • Report suspicious behavior or safety concerns immediately
  • Be aware of emergency exits and procedures

By attending events:

  • You confirm you are in suitable health to participate
  • You agree to disclose relevant medical conditions if necessary
  • We are not liable for medical emergencies or health issues
  • First aid services may be available at certain events

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Pride The Hague acts as a platform to promote and coordinate Pride Week activities. We are NOT responsible for:

By attending or purchasing tickets to partner events, you acknowledge that Pride The Hague serves only as an informational platform and has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the actions of partner event organizers or third parties.

11.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law and EU regulations, Pride The Hague, COC Haaglanden, the Pride Workgroup, and all associated officers, volunteers, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

Maximum Liability: In any case where liability cannot be excluded under Dutch law, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euros) or the amount you directly paid to Pride The Hague (not to partners) in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is lower.

Time Limitation: Any claims must be brought within one (1) year from the date the cause of action arose, or such claim is permanently barred.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pride The Hague, its officers, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights
  • Your User Content
  • Your conduct at events
