Pride The Hague brings together communities across The Hague and surrounding municipalities to create a week of celebration, protest, connection, and visibility for LGBTQIA+ voices. Whether you're a long-time supporter or just learning about Pride, we're glad you're here.
Pride The Hague is more than a week of events. We are a year-round movement working to create lasting visibility, safety, and belonging for LGBTQIA+ communities across the region. Through collaboration with local organisations, municipal partners, cultural institutions, and grassroots initiatives, we build Pride together.
We centre the stories, experiences, and creativity of LGBTQIA+ people from The Hague and beyond, creating platforms for expression, art, and advocacy.
Through events, workshops, and gatherings, we strengthen connections within and across communities, creating spaces for celebration, support, and solidarity.
We work with partners to ensure Pride events are safe, accessible, and inclusive, while advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility throughout the year.
We partner with cultural organisations, neighbourhood groups, embassies, community initiatives, and local government to create a Pride Week that reflects our region's diversity.
Our mission for 2026 is to create a fully connected Pride Week that highlights queer stories, strengthens community engagement, and increases visibility across The Hague and surrounding municipalities. We aim to develop a coordinated program that brings organisations, residents, and partners together, ensuring that Pride Week is inclusive, representative, and anchored in the diversity of our region.
For Pride 2026, we aim to expand collaboration with cultural institutions, embassies, community groups, neighbourhood initiatives, and local businesses. Our mission is to create accessible opportunities for co-creation and shared ownership, enabling partners to meaningfully shape the Pride Week program.
Stronger partnerships will support a more resilient, diverse, and sustainable Pride for the years ahead. We believe in building long-term relationships that extend beyond Pride Week, fostering year-round visibility and support for LGBTQIA+ communities.
Our mission is to deliver a Pride Week that is safe, accessible, and welcoming for everyone. In 2026, we will prioritise clear accessibility standards, close coordination with municipal partners, and thoughtful planning across all events.
By placing care and inclusion at the centre of our work, we aim to create an environment where all people, regardless of ability, background, or identity, can participate confidently and fully. This includes physical accessibility, language support, sensory considerations, and safety protocols.
We are committed to ensuring Pride remains rooted in and reflective of the communities it serves. This means centering local voices, supporting grassroots initiatives, and creating opportunities for people to share their stories, art, and experiences throughout Pride Week and beyond.
Our vision for Pride The Hague 2026 is to build a region where diversity is visible, inclusion is lived, and everyone feels safe to be their authentic self. Through a fully connected Pride Week, we aim to strengthen community bonds, amplify queer voices, and bring lasting colour and visibility across The Hague and surrounding municipalities.
Pride is not only a celebration, but a shared commitment to openness, care, and belonging throughout the year. We envision Pride as a catalyst for ongoing change, where the connections made during Pride Week continue to grow, where partnerships deepen, and where visibility translates into meaningful support and acceptance in everyday life.
Building on the success of Pride 2025, we have set ambitious goals for 2026 that will expand Pride's reach, deepen community engagement, and strengthen our impact across the region.
Create a comprehensive week-long program with events across multiple venues and neighbourhoods, ensuring Pride is accessible throughout the region.
Expand our network of partner organisations, strengthening collaboration with local groups, cultural institutions, and neighbourhood initiatives.
Encourage broader participation in the Pride Walk, creating an even more visible and impactful presence in the city centre.
Implement comprehensive accessibility measures across all official Pride events, including physical access, language support, and sensory accommodations.
Build partnerships across The Hague and surrounding municipalities to create truly regional Pride programming and visibility.
Grow our volunteer base, creating more opportunities for community involvement and leadership development.
Pride The Hague 2025 marked the second edition of Pride in our city and confirmed that The Hague is ready for a visible, community-rooted Pride. Built largely by volunteers, Pride 2025 combined protest, celebration, culture, and connection, with a strong focus on local stories, accessibility, and collaboration. It laid the foundation for future growth and demonstrated the power of Pride as a shared, citywide effort.
Pride 2025 centred queer voices from The Hague itself. The "Sharing Stories" theme gave space to local storytellers, artists, and organisations, reinforcing Pride as something created by the community for the community. A more visible Pride Walk route through the city centre increased public engagement and strengthened Pride's presence in everyday urban life.
A defining feature of Pride 2025 was collaboration. Over thirty organisations contributed to the additional programme, creating a diverse and accessible range of events throughout May. Partnerships with cultural institutions, grassroots initiatives, venues, and the Municipality of The Hague were essential to delivering Pride at this scale.
